Although from the name of the program you might think it has something to do with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, it does, in fact, stand for Find Bad Information. It is a tool that checks CDs, DVDs, hard drives or USB devices to see if they have any corrupted or damaged sectors.

FBI does a minute and exhaustive check detecting any posible defective sectors, or tells you it is difficult to read due to corrupted or damaged areas. All the information is saved in a log file.

FBI is a good tool to check the integrity of discs and drives.
